Aabbitt Industrial Adhesives Inc was founded by Mr. Benjamin B. Sarmas on July 31, 1967. In mid 1969 we acquired the Envelope product line of Illinois Adhesives which had been successfully marketed primarily in the Midwest region for over forty years.
June 1970 Aabbitt Adhesives acquired Jade Adhesives Company, which was predominantly in the book binding and packaging adhesives.
June 1978 Aabbitt Adhesives acquired Advance Adhesives Inc, with complete facilities for Water-Based and Hot Melt adhesives, serving the packaging industry. Finally by mid 1981, we acquired Standard Paste & Glue Company Inc, which had been incorporated in 1917. We operate two facilities in Chicago with an emphasis on innovation and maintaining performance of products.
